The long-awaited BlackBerry Bold 9900 is about to release in UAE very soon. Etisalat has already sent messages to its users to book the new phone for AED 2599 with more reward points worth AED 350. The blackberry manufacturer RIM expects more from the device to bring the consumers back to them with more interesting offerings on the device. However, can the BlackBerry live up to their expectations?
Although, the Bold 9900 has an identical design with its predecessor (the Bold 9780) that retained the candy bar design, it is quite impressive with the thickness of 10.5mm and more premium feels from its material construction and design. Also, the chrome trim bezel that lined along the side of the phone is very eye-catching.
Compared with the Bold 9780, the Bold 9900 comes with a larger 2.8-inch capacitive touchscreen display with the resolution of 640 x 480 pixels and more responsive full Qwerty keyboard that sit right under it.
Although not the best features found on the latest BlackBerry, a 1.2GHz Snapdragon processor coupled with the latest BlackBerry OS 7 under the hood are more than enough to run the phone smoothly and effortlessly.
